Boutique Wakatipu Subdivision.

Baxter Design undertook the masterplanning, the consenting and construction documentation for this boutique 4 lot subdivision. Located within the Wakatipu Basin, at the base of Coronet Peak, the site occupies a highly sensitive Outstanding Natural Landscape, one of the most restrictive landscapes within the basin.  The site demanded a high degree of design rigour and creativity and  responded to this unique and sensitive landscape by integrating  4 small residential lots (250m2), with low timber clad dwellings, within an series of extensive land-shaping, shaped to mimic the existing rolling terrace landforms and covered in grassland, tussock and indigenous revegetation.
